I have an orange cone that reads; Prayer Zone. I hide it. But when it’s prayer time, I place it on the corner of my desk to remind anyone who walks by, to proceed with caution— slow down, and do not disturb.
When I first got my Prayer Zone Cone, David teased me about it. He would walk by my desk with this index finger pressed to his lips, “SHHHHHHHHH! (He told the dogs) Quiet everyone. Mom is in prayer mode.” He smirked, and proceeded quietly to his office. He was up to something…….
A couple of days after bringing home my new find, I was sitting on the couch opposite of him. David was watching his favorite prophesy show. I started talking to him and his eyes widen as if to hush me. Next, he reached from behind a pillow, and placed my Prayer Zone Cone between us. “SHHHHHH! It’s my prayer time.”
I thought, Can he do that? Well he did. And it worked for him too.
Now the challenge is to find a hiding place for my sacred Prayer Zone Cone before he starts utilizing it for all his TV time. I have no choice but to find a different location daily. Hiding this treasure is a necessity so it won’t be misused by my guy.
Besides, what would he do without my questions and input during his TV time?
