Faith is not convenient—it doesn’t fit with our needs or our plans.
Faith asks difficult things, pushing us forward:
Give grace, even when we don’t feel like it.
It whispers, “Pray, instead of hate.”
It gently instructs, “Forgive instead of punishing.”
It asks us to love in deep pain.
Faith makes no sense.
Gregory Boyd said this: “God is so sovereign, He chooses to save the world by allowing himself to become weak. The cross constitutes the supreme example of the way God is. God rules by love, not control.”Perhaps strength comes out of weakness, authority from submission, and obedience from love. Click To Tweet
