As the sun stretches over the horizon, I contemplate a direction and cry out to God for instruction. I struggle to hear His voice over my own. I wait in silence for needed guidance. Which way, Lord?
In the stillness of my room, I attempt to quiet my own ideas and desires about the direction of my book. In the haze of my thoughts, one thing is clear, I need Godly advice from those close to me.
We need others to bring clarity and inviting them to share their perspective, helps us to see the fingerprints of God.
When we reach a crossroad:
- Wait. Don’t head off in one direction too quickly.
- Ask. Reach out to those who are close and seek their counsel.
- Embrace. When the answer comes, accept the direction and confidently step onto God’s path.
“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8 NLT
