It’s only three women. What can just a few accomplish?
Weekly, we encourage one another through texting. One woman texts on Mondays, I have Wednesdays, and the other has Fridays.
Yesterday’s text came through while I was feeling discouraged about writing.
I am worthy—it took me a long time to believe that and I’ve worked through my unworthiness.
I am beautiful—and no one needs to convince me of that anymore.
I’ve dropped the illusion that I’m not enough—I am perfect. I have imperfections, but that doesn’t make me imperfect. I am perfect as I am.
How can I pray for you today my worthy, beautiful, and perfect ladies?
Another text came through—
Thank you for your text. Please pray for strength. It’s Easter week…four rehearsals…nine services…an Easter egg hunt, and I still haven’t bought a dress.
Then I wrote back to our group—
Praying strength over you. You can do it! I need prayers for finishing my second book. Doubt lurks over my shoulder. “Shouldn’t you have finished by now?” “Is this going to make a difference?” Love you ladies.
Ping! My phone alerted a text response.
Dawna, the enemy might as well shut his mouth because more books are in you! The second one has pushed the door wide open. God’s timing is perfect. It took two thousand years for Jesus to arrive, and He was right on time.
Our Friday chimed in—
Hey ladies! I’m back in town. Thanks for your prayers. I’m feeling encouraged. Pray for stamina and mastering time. Ha! Love you!
When we finished our Monday group text, I prayed for each one individually. Now filled with hope, I went back to my computer and begin typing.
Somehow, life is much better when shared together.

If only by text.
