Fear Not?

We piously say,

“Do not be afraid and then live in fear.

We quote how many times the Bible talks about fear, and still allow anxiety in.

We try to fear not…

My Spiritual Director, Ruth, read me Luke 1, from The Passion Translation.

Mary was afraid…but the angel, Gabriel, said to her, “Do not yield to your fear Mary.”

Feeling fear is a normal human experience.

Yielding to our fear is the problem.

So today, Sally and I launched a new series titled, Fear Not!
