Make a wish
I sold a property called, “The Dandelion House,” adorned with the theme throughout and even a dandelion painted accent wall.
Upon seeing it, my clients decided to write a contract. Before leaving, mom and two little girls closed their eyes, made the wish (that this would be their new home) and blew on the wall.
A wish is an unspoken prayer.
Tradition tells us to keep the wish quiet—or it won’t come true.
But if I follow God’s example, He spoke and the world came to be.
And yet, He still honors those silent prayers too…the ones we don’t dare to say out loud.
Internal or external, God doesn’t have one standard for how He answers prayers.
We can pray in so many ways.
He hears every prayer. God is listening.
My clients made a wish…an unspoken prayer. I talked to God about their move. We watched for His guidance and what He was doing.
Against all odds (there were multiple offers, my clients had to sell the home they were living in…) still, my clients succeeded and now reside in The Dandelion House.
This morning, I make a wish—keeping my prayer internal. I ask in my heart that our words from our talk show, That’s Funny! will reach the hearts of those who need to hear it.
We are wrapping up a six part series titled, God never gives you more than you can handle. Now, that’s funny!
Here’s episode 6 (and episodes 1-5 in case you missed them).
Will you help us spread the word?
Will you say a spoken prayer for my internal one?
